ABOUT BUFFALO TRAILS BAPTIST CHURCH

Dr. Mowery joined the staff at Buffalo Trail in September 2007.  He is a native of Tennessee, having been born and reared in Knoxville.  He is a graduate of Carson-Newman College (University) with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Church Recreation.  He holds a Masters of Divinity with Biblical Languages and a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.  Keith earned a Doctorate of Ministry from Andersonville Baptist Seminary in Camilla, Georgia.  Keith has served churches in Texas, Maryland and Tennessee.  He and his wife, Paula, have a daughter, Shelly.  In his spare time, Keith enjoys vacationing at the beach and spending time with family and friends and his dogs.

Amanda joined the BTBC team in October 2014. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from King University. Amanda and her husband Kelvin have four daughters and four dogs and live in Morristown. She is an avid Disney fan and Tervis cup collector. 

Kim joined the staff in the fall of 2021. He is a native of Georgia. He is a graduate of Samford University with a Bachelor of Music Education. He holds a Masters of Divinity in Church Music from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Kim is married to Kathy. They are avid Georgia Bulldog fans! God has blessed Kim with an incredible voice and a dry sense of humor.  

Jeff joined the staff of Buffalo Trail in August 2010. He is a native of Morristown and graduated from Morristown West High School. He graduated from State Area Vocational School in electronics. He worked at Briggs TV for 13 years and Mahle for 11 years as a material handler. Jeff and his wife Fran (deceased), have on son, Jonathan. In his spare time, Jeff loves anything sports and enjoys a round of disc golf. Jeff is a huge VOLS, Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Dodgers fan! 

Traci joined the staff of Buffalo Trail as the Children's Ministry Coordinator in January 2019. Traci was raised in Buffalo Trail Baptist Church where she worked in Children's Church and taught Sunday School classes and choirs. Traci has a Bachelor's Degree in Math and Business from Carson Newman. Traci works at Kelly's Kids Early Learning Center with her brother, Anthony, and her mother, Madge, as a Pre-K teacher. 

Madge began keeping children for the choir during their special Christmas Musical in 1968 and has been the serving as the nursery director ever since. Madge is married to Jim and they have two children: Traci Carroll & Anthony Davis. Madge also works with her son at Kelly's Kids Early Learning Center. Madge has completed all the classes required by the State of Tennessee including Red Cross First Aid and C.P.R.  Madge loves the Lord and she loves children. She will welcome your child with open arms and a great big heart.
